Originally home to Southern California's first Volkswagen dealership, the thoughtfully reimagined property has been transformed into a distinctive creative campus that celebrates its industrial heritage while supporting today's working artists.
Located in Inglewood, just west of the 405 Freeway, 1019 West is part of a growing creative corridor alongside Beacon Arts Building, Otis College of Art and Design, and Loyola Marymount University. Its central location offers convenient access to Santa Monica, Venice, Downtown Los Angeles, LAX, and the Westside, making it an ideal home base for artists across Los Angeles.

Leases typically start at one year and extend month to month unless negotiated otherwise.

A security deposit equal to one month of rent. Once lease is complete, the security deposit is returned when the studio is vacated in good condition.

Our studios are available to artists, creative professionals, designers, photographers, illustrators, sculptors, architects, filmmakers, writers, musicians, and other entrepreneurs who need dedicated workspace.

Yes. Many tenants use their studios as offices, design studios, production spaces, or creative headquarters in addition to making artwork.

No. Our studios are strictly commercial workspaces and cannot be used as residential living spaces.
